Frequently Asked Questions

There is a minimum cutting charge of $60.00 + GST for all metal processing services.

This charge covers the time and labour required for:

• Drawing parts
• Programming machines
• Material handling
• Cutting

We accept your drawings in most formats, including DXF, DWG, PDF and hand drawn plans/sketches. Once received, your drawings are stored in Sigmanest in your individual folder.

At present we cut up to 3000mm x 1500mm.

We can now cut brass up to 6mm thick.

At the moment:

• 25mm Mild Steel
• 20mm Aluminium
• 20mm Stainless Steel
• 6mm Brass

Thicker materials can always be sourced for you at no additional costs

Unfortunately due to fire hazards we are unable to cut:

• Wood
• Acrylic
• Flammable products/materials

WCSM can arrange additional services at a good rate such as

• Blast & Paint
• Powder Coating
• Hot Dipped Galvanising or Zinc Plating
• Anodising
